Frequently asked questions

What size is a pickleball court?

A pickleball court is 20 ft by 44 ft (6.10 x 13.41 m) for both singles and doubles. Measurements are taken to the outside edge of the lines.

How big is the kitchen?

The non-volley zone, or kitchen, extends 7 ft (2.13 m) from the net on each side, measured to the outside edge of the kitchen line. The kitchen lines are part of the kitchen.

How wide are pickleball lines?

Lines are 2 inches (50 mm) wide and should contrast clearly with the playing surface.

Can I line pickleball on a tennis court?

Yes. Many tennis courts are also lined for pickleball, in a different colour from the tennis lines. In the designer, choose tennis on synthetic grass and turn on pickleball infill to see it.

How much space do I need?

The playing surface should be at least 9.1 x 18.3 m (30 x 60 ft) for a single court. Our standard single-court slab is 20 x 10 m with fencing.
